Paralegal

Davies, Barrell, Will, Lewellyn & Edwards, PLC, a general practice law firm with six attorneys located in historic Culpeper Virginia, is seeking a paralegal/legal assistant with 3+ years of civil litigation experience for fulltime employment. The position will work with the business and personal injury practice groups. The paralegal will support the firm's attorneys by assisting with substantive legal work as well as administrative tasks. Responsibilities include calendaring, docketing, preparation and editing of pleadings, discovery, subpoenas and correspondence, filing pleadings, managing files, review of medical and billing records, summarizing depositions, as well as performing other duties as required. The paralegal will play an integral role in client matters and work closely with attorneys to deliver outstanding client services.

The successful candidate will be able to work independently with little direction, but also be a team player and have excellent people skills. Additional qualifications include proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Attention to detail, organization and time management skills are critical.
